24日、午前0時26分頃、岩手県北部で震度6強の地震があった。
岩手県洋野町で震度６強を観測、同県野田村と青森県八戸市、同県五戸町、階上町で震度６弱を観測した。

警察庁は災害警備本部を設置。

In the north of Iwate Earthquakes occured Seismic intensity 6

On the 24th, around 0:26 AM, there was a seismic intensity 6
earthquake in the north of Iwate prefecture.

Soon, I emailed to my friend who live in Morioka and then she was ok. Anyway I was relieved.
But because of midnight earthquakes, I worry about the situation of Iwate prefecture and cities around Iwate after daybreak. So far, Atomic energy plants in Aomori and Fukushima are no problem.
